German Senior Field Application Engineer-Automotive Ethernet

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE)
to provide technical expertise and customer support for our
Automotive Ethernet solutions
. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring successful product integration, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support.

  • Understand customer requirements, and deliver technical presentations/workshops, reports, documents and technology demonstrations.

  • Support customer product development and design.

  • Support customer issue analysis and resolve.

  • On-site support for debug or certification test.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Realtek internal resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive technical experience in IC design, system integration, or as a Field Application Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
  • Native-level German, professional working proficiency in English, and at least conversational proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Ethernet protocols.
  • Familiarity with the automotive ecosystem, standards, and certification processes.
  • Experience working in an IC design house or semiconductor FAE role.
  • Proficiency with Linux-based systems.
