Intern - Real Estate Portfolio, Global Allianz Group Portfolio Advisory

We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location in Munich.

Within PIMCO Prime Real Estate the Allianz Group Portfolio Advisory Team is responsible for managing the global client relationship with the Allianz Group and to advise on strategic initiatives related to its real estate investment portfolio. The team mainly operates from Munich and is working in close collaboration with all departments and functions globally. This internship provides a comprehensive and cross functional view on the real estate asset class, client relations and investment strategy. 

What you will do: 

• Support in the further enhancement of our global real estate investment strategy process
• Assist in top-down market and portfolio analysis on a global basis
• Analysis of economic, financial, demographic and real estate market data
• Support the preparation of client presentations
• Update and enhance process descriptions and working templates
• Perform project management tasks

What you bring:

• Ongoing studies in economics or a related course of study, ideally with a real estate industry connection
• Experience / work experience in investment strategy/research is of advantag
• High proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint and especially Excel)
• Team player with outstanding conceptual skills and willingness to learn
• Very strong analytical and quantitative abilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent written and spoken Englis
• Good communication skills and experiences in an international working environment
