Flexa is at the forefront of enabling a smart and sustainable energy future. To drive this vision forward, we are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Chief of Staff (d/f/m) to lead our venture development, and strategic finance efforts.

Venture Development & Partnerships

• New ventures / special projects: Incubate and launch commercial bets; build lean business cases, run trials, kill fast when needed.
• Structure and setup partnerships: Structure partnerships for Flexa to accelerate growth
• Operating model, org and culture: Identify and execute on improvement potential in operating model, org structure, and culture

Strategic Finance and Investor relations

• Company planning: Own driver-based operating model (revenue, margin, cash). Keep a single source of truth.
• FP&A: Partner on monthly close; budget vs. actuals; scenario and liquidity planning.
• Board/investor materials: Write crisp, defensible updates; surface risks with mitigation; prep executives for Q&A.
• Fundraising: Manage process of future fundraising; scout and coordinate grants/subsidies

Company Ops & Admin

• Execution cadence: Run leadership weekly, all-hands, QBRs. Decisions recorded, owners assigned, follow-through ruthless.
• Cross-functional unblocker: See bottlenecks early (legal, procurement, compliance, vendor onboarding). Fix or escalate with options.
• Internal comms: Write the memos so the org knows what we're doing and why.

• Background: 3+ years full-time experience in fast paced, high performant environment (strategy consulting, top tier law firm, or previous Chief of Staff role), with ideally previous building experience
• Conceptual excellence: Track record in structuring and solving complex problems across domains
• Modeling fluency: Top tier skills in financial/business plan modeling
• IR-ready communicator: Pin-sharp writing, board-grade slides, data-first narrative; you can defend metrics under pressure.
• Energy and tech familiarity: Previous experience in energy markets and tech

Hello

I'm Fabian, Co-founder at Flexa. My passion for the energy transition began early, during my first internship at a wind farm contractor when I was just 16. Watching those massive turbines rise from the ground was a moment of awe that still resonates with me. After starting a few of my own ventures and completing my studies in Finance, I transitioned into the consulting industry, where I eagerly immersed myself in energy projects. From that point on, I was hooked.

Building Flexa is both a tremendous motivator and a significant responsibility for me. It's an incredible opportunity to work on some of the most complex and critical challenges our society faces today, alongside a team of exceptionally talented individuals.
