Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations
to join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at our
Kiel
facility.

What You Will Do

• Build, lead and engage a Manufacturing Operations organisation to establish a world-class manufacturing facility.
• Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations for the facility in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high quality products in a safe and secure working environment.
• Manage development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
• Direct development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and employee performance of scheduled work activities to achieve established operating goals.
• Oversee programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training employees that perform and support the facility operations.
• Maintain and build positive employee relations and an inspiring work environment.

• Knowledge and significant experience of manufacturing operations
• Knowledge and significant experience of manufacturing safety
• Knowledge and significant experience of manufacturing standards, procedures and policies
• Quality management
• Budgeting
• Analytical thinking
• Performance management
• Employee relations
• Proficiency both in English and in German (spoken and written)

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills)

• Engineering or technical degree combined with extensive experience in the field
• Previous Experience of Manufacturing Large Engines
• Large Engine Manufacturing experience

Additional Information
We are back This role requires being in the office five days a week.
