A rapidly growing engineering organisation in the advanced connectivity and communications sector is expanding its embedded software team. This is an opportunity to join a company developing
next-generation modem and networking platforms
used in demanding, high-reliability environments worldwide.

You will work at the intersection of embedded software, hardware bring-up, system integration and modern communication technologies, helping to turn early-stage concepts into fully functioning products.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement and test embedded software on
    SoCs, evaluation boards and custom hardware platforms
  • Develop
    drivers, middleware and embedded applications
    for prototypes and production-grade systems
  • Integrate Linux-based SDKs and collaborate closely on
    HW/SW co-design, debugging and system validation
  • Contribute to
    rapid prototyping
    , system bring-up, performance measurement and troubleshooting
  • Work with partners on architectural topics and help enable
    innovative connectivity solutions
  • Collaborate across engineering teams and maintain high standards for documentation and design quality

Required Experience

  • 2–5+ years
    of embedded software development with
    C and C++
  • Strong experience in
    Embedded Linux
    environments
  • Python proficiency for tooling, automation or testing
  • Understanding of
    Linux kernel / RTOS interface concepts
  • Experience with
    SoCs
    , board bring-up and basic FPGA interface familiarity
  • Knowledge of communication or networking protocols (e.g.,
    Ethernet, TCP/IP, modern wireless standards
    )
  • Ability to debug complex systems, measure performance and deal with data-throughput constraints
  • Degree in
    Computer/Electrical Engineering
    or similar
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, independent working style

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in
    wireless, radio, networking, measurement technologies
    , or modern 5G/6G-related development
  • Exposure to reliability-critical systems
  • Understanding networking concepts in an
    embedded systems context
  • Familiarity with bus architectures (PCI/PCIe, SDI, or similar)
  • Experience supporting HW enablement, driver bring-up or Linux-platform integration
