Your Role: Senior Finance Manager

This isn't a corporate finance role. This is building the financial engine from scratch.

You'll own the full finance stack, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and turn numbers into velocity. Every forecast you build, every process you design, every insight you surface will directly shape how we scale, what we build, and where we win.

Partner with Product, Ops, Commercial, and Growth. Report directly to the Co-Founder/MD. This is a seat at the table, not a support function.

What you'll own:

1. Finance & Accounting:
   5-day close, bookkeeping, Steuerberater coordination, management accounts, group consolidations.
2. Payroll & Equity:
   Payroll, benefits, equity accounting (EIP/VSOP).
3. Treasury & Operations:
   Build O2C/P2P, automate reconciliations (≥95%), manage cash runway and AP/AR.
4. FP&A:
   Operating model, rolling forecasts, unit economics, investor-grade board packs (±5–10%).
5. Strategic Partner:
   Turn data into decisions on pricing, hiring, and growth.
6. Build the Stack:
   Select tools, set cadences, scale toward high-performing team.
7. Compliance:
   VAT, Körperschaftsteuer, Lohnsteuer; audits and filings.

What It Takes

Operated finance in high-growth fintech or tech, ideally as first or early hire. Closed books fast, built FP&A models that informed real decisions, and managed treasury with discipline.

Comfortable with HGB accounting, leading audits, and working alongside a Steuerberater. Can build O2C/P2P workflows and automate reconciliations without losing control.

Fluent with modern finance tools and strong in SQL/Excel. Builds reliable data flows and knows when numbers don't add up.

Moves fast in ambiguous environments. Prefers action over perfection. Communicates clearly, turns complex finance into crisp narratives for founders and investors.
