Designs and supervises all aspects of manufacturing procedures in accordance with current demands and the production capacity.Job RequirementsPosition Overview: Report to TE DND MPDE Senior manager or global leader, own the final responsibility to organize the MPDE team to work by DDN MPDE responsibility in designated product/process scope, cooperate with relative functions to manage NPI projects development and launching in TE DDN plant.Responsibilities: - Initiate/execute strategically plan of process & tooling development following specific project/business planning - Cooperate/Communicate with other functions and report to upper management in time and correctly for designated NPI projects - Stand for the assigned team to lead/participate/cooperate in global operation process, events/activities. - Develop capability and capacity of assigned MPDE teams by assessment, hiring and development program. - Budget capex, department expense and HC planQualifications - >12 years' experience of manufacturing engineering and or the development with no less than 8 years of management position or equivalent experience - NPI background/experience of electrical connector or electrical component manufacturing industry with SME level of core process knowledge for one or more of stamping, molding, plating, assembly/cable assembly - Professional level of PFMEA, DFM, tooling design and the software, data analysis/simulation. - Be familiar with MNE culture, be familiar with connector/cable assembly industry. - Fluent English speaking, professional communication capabilityWhat your background should look likeGenerally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalentCompetenciesSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
