Area Sales Manager

Location

This role is open globally, but location is set in Italy (Genova) or Germany (Berlin). The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities while contributing to global budget and profitability targets across assigned countries (Local Sales Units).
  • Collaborate with Product Management to provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions, prepare competitive offers, and support customer inquiries.
  • Assist the Local Sales Unit team during meetings and negotiations, deliver product presentations, and conduct training sessions on products and solutions.
  • Evaluate customer needs, competitor offerings, and lost proposals; support risk review processes and ensure offers meet technical and financial standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales global context with expertise in business development, account management and cross-selling.
  • Proven skills in communication and negotiation with a customer-focused mindset, and a professional "can-do" attitude
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Any additional language is a plus.
