Job Description SummaryThis role is well suited for a highly motivated, growth-oriented leader responsible for developing the digital strategy and managing the execution of the various initiatives. You will interact closely with the Plant Business Leaders, Digital Product Teams and CIO's. This role will require significant experience in project & program execution along with strong Supply Chain business process knowledge & Digital software product expertise with a good understanding of both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) within a manufacturing context. This role is based in Mönchengladbach and covers also Kassel site.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will :Act as single point of contact for plant leadership & managing directors, being the interface with global teams and CIO'sEffectively communicate (i.e. status, issues, budget, and risk) to leadership and other various levels of the factory leadershipDrive strategic solutions deployment, adoption and utilization, advocate standards & transformDevelop the DT roadmap for Mönchengladbach and Kassel aligned to the global strategyContribute to the simplification of Application landscapeSupport the rollout of DT programs aligned to all domainsOptimize and Accelerate Global Manufacturing Operations with DT Solutions through design and implement automation/robotics solutions and connected systems that integrates machines, sensors, and enterprise systemsImplement shopfloor monitoring, dashboards, and data-driven insights to improve operational performance.Identify opportunities and help develop solutions to improve on KPIs in partnership with global Digital TechnologyBe a Digital "change agent", identifying and understanding capabilities being driven at the company level, GE Vernova "re-use" where possible => which available solutions / standards / best practicesSupport site compliance to policies, standards and rules as defined by CISO organization, unions & works council.Ensure compliance to DT processes, standards and strategyEnsure operations of existing solutions with visibility to end-to-end issue resolutionEnsure site operation on core & non core infrastructure and continuity plan & executionDrive Cost efficiency (ensure HW & SW rationalization, PC, GCOM …)Basic Qualifications:Master in Computer Sciences, Engineer or equivalent experince (MBA preferred)Proven professional work experience within Supply Chain ManufacturingSupply Chain expertise through business engagement, including factory value stream processes, Planning, Sourcing & LogisticsFluent in Englisha and GermanTechnical Expertise:Proven product/project management experienceManufacturing project/program experience is preferred.  Experience with the following: Solution Architecture, data architecture, software development, and Global Supply Chain (GSC) operationsKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, etc.)Knowledge of IT/OT segmentation processes/solutionsExperience with IIoT platforms (Vimana Elevate, PTC ThingWorx, etc.).Awareness of new techs capabilities (AI, ML, VR, AR, Big Data, etc )Business AcumenAbility to convert obscure and ambiguous requirements and outcomes into a clear digital product strategy with improved value creation for businessExperience defining, implementing and using shop floor IT tools (i.e. Manufacturing Execution System, Quality, ERP, PLM, MRP, EAM), Lean PrinciplesResults-oriented/ outcome- focused mindsetEvangelizes new technology, predicts trends, external focused, and influence business and DTAbility to use expertise and knowledge to challenge the "status quo" and define more strategic approach and defend that positionAdditional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
