Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP QM Lead to guide quality management workstreams across complex ERP transformation programs. You will be accountable for end-to-end solution design, leading functional delivery, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients—particularly in regulated industries such as life sciences and manufacturing. This role combines deep SAP QM expertise with strong leadership in solution governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the SAP QM workstream, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration strategy, and delivery oversight.
- Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders; define the target solution in alignment with project goals and regulatory expectations.
- Translate business needs into functional architecture, considering integration with MM, PP, WM, PM, SD, and EHS.
- Oversee functional documentation, specifications, testing strategy, and validation deliverables.
- Manage and mentor junior consultants, providing direction on daily tasks and overall solution quality.
- Coordinate with development teams to deliver enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, CSV, and other regulatory requirements relevant to life sciences clients.
- Support cutover planning, go-live preparation, and hypercare for QM-related processes.
- Serve as the main client point of contact for QM topics and guide decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP QM experience with strong configuration and integration knowledge.
- Proven experience leading QM workstreams in implementation, S/4HANA transformation, or large enhancement projects.
- Deep understanding of core QM capabilities: inspections, sampling, notifications, batch management, stability, quality certificates, and audit processes.
- Experience working in regulated environments (pharma / life sciences strongly preferred).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and drive decisions.
- Ability to create clear documentation and ensure adherence to validation/CSV requirements.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams and technical development groups.
