Junior Financial Controller

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a
Junior Financial Controller (m/f/d)
at our location in Gronau (Westphalia), working 32-40 hours per week.

Your role

In this role, you will work closely with our finance and accounting colleagues and report to the group controller. You ensure a reliable, timely and clear administration and actively think along about improvements. At the Tok group level, we manage the accounting & controlling of 3 entities in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. On an operational level, you will receive support from the finance team.

Your key responsibilities

• Accounting of the Dutch and Belgium purchase and sales invoices in their respective general ledgers and maintaining and controlling of these general ledgers
• Responsible for the accounts receivable management, coordinating with sales representatives, credit agencies and debt collection agencies to optimize receivables collectability
• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly and annual closings
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and liquidity planning
• Identifying deviations and opportunities for process improvement

Your profile

• College or Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Economics or a similar degree
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a financial role with experience in a food distribution environment
• Independence, accuracy and analytical skills
• Good understanding of both Dutch, German and English
• Experience with Business Central (ERP system) is a plus
• Knowledge of Power BI
