Senior Network Engineer
Vor 2 Tagen
You'll play a crucial role in enabling our forklifts to be remotely operated across Europe in real time and with complete safety. As a Senior Network Engineer on our development team, you'll take ownership of the very core of our technology: ensuring a fast, reliable, and low-latency flow of data between our teleoperated forklifts and the remote driving system.
You'll be responsible for integrating our remote forklifts into the diverse and complex network environments of our customers. By continuously developing and optimizing our product architecture and processes, you'll help guarantee the highest levels of performance, reliability, and uptime in any industrial setting. Your work will directly contribute to advancing our technology and setting high benchmarks for network performance and operational security.
You've built, maintained, and debugged networks that had to be robust under any circumstances - whether WLAN, 5G, LAN, or VPN.
We're looking for expertise in three key areas:
Connectivity & Infrastructure:
- Deep knowledge of WLAN (ideally in demanding industrial settings), 5G, LAN/WAN, switching, and VPNs
- Experience optimizing for low latency, building redundant systems, and IT security
- Good programming skills (C++, Python, or Bash) for network monitoring/control are a big plus, but not strictly required
- An excellent communicator, able to work independently and in a structured way - both within a team and directly with customers
- Fluent in both German and English, so you can communicate effectively with our team and partners
Any questions? Contact us directly via -
What We Offer- Enjoy flexible working hours and up to 50% remote work, so you can organize your day to fit your needs perfectly
- Expect a competitive salary and attractive share options (VSOP), giving you a direct stake in the company's success
- You'll be part of a dynamic and exciting work environment with flat hierarchies and true startup spirit: here, you can make an impact and bring your own ideas to life, helping shape our success story from day one
- Bright office spaces with autonomous equipment create a modern and pleasant atmosphere
- A well-coordinated team will support you during onboarding and is always ready to help you out
- Benefit from our company pension scheme
- Enjoy a relaxed commute with a job ticket and free parking
- And best of all, our break room is always stocked with a wide selection of complimentary snacks and drinks
- Design and implement our wireless communication systems (WLAN, 5G) for real-time applications
- Chase every millisecond: optimize network links, minimize latency, and maximize uptime
- Develop standardized hardware and software setups to accelerate customer rollouts
- Serve as the main technical contact (both internally and with clients) for integrating our system into customer networks, guiding the ideal integration process
- Proactively monitor and manage network connections, including developing your own software interfaces for monitoring and control
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies (e.g., VPN solutions) to keep our infrastructure at the cutting edge
