About the Role:

We are looking for skilled and reliable Blue-Collar Technicians to join our dynamic team on a major cabling and containment project in Frankfurt and other locations. You will be responsible for the physical installation, routing, and management of data cables and the cable containment infrastructure (ladder rack, trunking, conduit) in a data centre environment. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in precise, tidy, and compliant installation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install cable containment systems: ladder rack, tray, trunking, and conduit.
  • Pull, route, and terminate security systems and fibre optic cables as per project schematics.
  • Perform basic testing and labelling of installed cables.
  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC), and site health & safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with site managers, foremen, and other trades.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Assist with material handling and site preparation.

Essential Requirements (Must-Have):

  • Proven experience in a similar cabling, containment, or low-voltage installation role.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) – required for team communication and understanding safety/technical instructions.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights (on ladders/scissor lifts) and in various building environments.
  • Strong understanding of tool use and a meticulous, careful approach to work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Highly Desirable Skills (Will secure the role):

  • Valid EU Driving License (Class B). This is very important for potential site-to-site movement or material runs.
  • Basic German language skills (B1 level). This is extremely helpful for daily life in Frankfurt and for any site interactions.
  • Familiarity with German or international cabling standards (DIN/ISO).
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., SCS, ECS, or German equivalents like "Elektrofachkraft" training).
  • Experience with fiber optic splicing and testing equipment.
