Within our Engineering division, we are seeking a
Construction Manager
to participate in the construction of a new fuel storage and distribution terminal at Düsseldorf Airport. This position is part of a high-impact project for one of our clients, a leading company in airport fuel transportation and storage.

The role will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of the project, applying advanced project management methodologies, processes, and tools to ensure efficient, high-quality results aligned with strategic objectives.

The position requires
full relocation to Düsseldorf (Germany), under an expatriate assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate all construction activities from the initial phase to final delivery.
  • Oversee the correct execution of the works, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, safety, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure project progress and quality.
  • Manage risks, incidents, and deviations, proposing action plans and effective solutions.
  • Supervise documentation, permits, HSE, and on-site quality control.
  • Participate in construction meetings, design reviews, and schedule monitoring.
  • Prepare progress reports and report directly to the Project Director and technical teams.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager in industrial, oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in supervising complex construction works and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or similar, or Technical Architecture.

LANGUAGES

  • Native German / minimum C1 required.
  • High level of English (minimum B2-C1).
