Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Radar System Engineer to join their System & Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for system integration and validation of our client's next-generation automotive radar products. You will work in a cross-functional environment to ensure seamless integration and robust validation of radar systems, contributing to the development of cutting-edge radar technology for automotive applications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Radar system integration and validation activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Implement the defined system integration strategy within development projects.

  • Understand customer acceptance criteria and translate them into test and validation implementations.

  • Define and execute system validation plans, including development of validation benches.

  • Conduct 77GHz radar system measurements using lab equipment to assess system and chip performance.

  • Develop and adapt system integration and validation test cases within automated testing frameworks.

  • Cooperate closely with system, product, and IP architects to challenge and refine requirement definitions.

Required Education & Experience

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in automotive radar systems.

  • Strong understanding of HW/SW interaction in modern automotive radar systems.

  • Proven track record in Radar system integration and validation.

  • Hands-on experience with Microwave, RF, and microcontroller measurement equipment and setups.

  • Proficiency in measurement engineering, system applications, and validation methodologies.

  • Experience with lab automation and coding (MATLAB, Python); knowledge of Java is a plus.

  • Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., Git, JIRA) and modern IDEs.

  • Practical experience in high-GHz system applications and test automation frameworks.
