To grow our AI Solutions Team in the field of Generative AI & Agentic Commerce, we're looking for a

Generative AI Engineer (f/m/d)

(Hybrid in Cologne or remote within Germany / Full-time / Permanent contract)

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and fine-tune Generative ML and AI models (LLMs, RAG, embedding models) to power intelligent services focused on trust, security, and user experience
  • Design and build AI agents that proactively solve tasks, communicate seamlessly with users and tools, and follow MCP-based logic (Model Context Protocol)
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using semantic search, vector stores, and API integrations
  • Create reusable prompts, classifiers, and scoring logic accessible through APIs or serverless architectures
  • Integrate your GenAI solutions into platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Trusted Shops' internal systems for scalable impact
  • Ensure all GenAI implementations are transparent, explainable, and compliant with privacy and trust standards
Dein Profil

Your Profile

  • A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related technical field – or equivalent practical experience in building GenAI solutions
  • Solid experience working with LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and/or agent frameworks and familiarity with Agentic AI concepts such as autonomous workflows, planning logic, or multi-agent orchestration
  • Hands-on skills with LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI API, Vector Database or similar tools
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with semantic search, embedding models, and vector databases
  • Familiarity with MCP concepts and agent architecture design (e.g. tool use, planning logic, multi-agent orchestration)
  • Comfortable designing and deploying AI solutions via APIs, serverless functions, or containerized environments (e.g. AWS Lambda, Docker)
  • Curious mindset and a responsible approach to building impactful, human-centered GenAI solutions
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
