Your Contribution

As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our DISH platform and strengthening our development processes. Acting as a mentor, sparring partner, and driving force behind technical excellence, you will guide your team toward building high-quality, scalable software solutions. Your leadership will empower the hospitality industry across Europe to embrace digital transformation and deliver smarter, more connected experiences.

Menu of Responsibilities

You will work closely with architects, developers, business analysts, UI/UX designers and QA engineers to design, build and improve our software solutions. You will take initiative, coach colleagues and ensure technical decisions are well-founded. Beyond coding you will serve as a technical ambassador in one or more domains, whether functional such as security or payments, technological such as Java, or component-specific.
 
Your role includes:

• Mentoring and coaching developers, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
• Driving technical decisions and quality together with your team.
• Facilitating collaboration and creating a safe, learning-oriented environment.
• Ensuring scalability, security and technical direction across solutions.
• Contributing to innovation both in technology and processes.
• Improving development workflows including CI/CD, test strategies and release quality.
• Working in an agile environment with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Ingredients for Success

You are a senior full-stack developer with a strong technical foundation and a servant-leadership mindset. Further, you enjoy guiding teams, sharing knowledge and driving technical excellence. In addition:

• Very good experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Web MVC, and JPA/Hibernate with relational databases.
• Understanding of performance, scalability and security challenges in distributed systems.
• Fluency in English and enjoyment of working in an international environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies and team development.
• Experience with Kubernetes/Helm.
• Experience with JavaScript and web development including any modern framework is beneficial.

When you meet the requirements of this role, you can expect an annual salary of approximately 70k.
