abra R&D is seeking for a Technical Writer.

This role requires experience in writing software documentation, particularly SVDs (Software Version Description), and will provide engineering support to project managers in various documentation and configuration-related processes.

A full-time on-site position, based in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Writing and maintaining technical documents in English: SVDs, SRS, SDD
  • Supporting engineering and project teams with documentation and release processes
  • Ensuring all documentation meets quality standards, compliance requirements, and release deadlines
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including software, systems, QA, and integration
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software or defense-related environment
  • Hands-on experience writing SVDs and other technical documents in English
  • Familiarity with software documentation standards (SRS, SDD, etc.)
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Word, and structured templates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English – must
  • Experience supporting project managers and engineering teams
