Responsibilities
  • Manage and control all risks within the commodity and develop strategies to ensure supply and reduce risk overall
  • Conducting contract and price negotiations
  • Arranging and executing award decisions
  • Supporting cost analysis in an early phase of projects / early involvement
  • Development of supplier management strategies and support of local colleagues in the qualification of suppliers worldwide
  • Management of the professionally led, international team

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years strategic procurement experience
  • Extensive sourcing & industry knowledge in Industrial / Automotive companies. 
  • Established background in procurement and knowledge of Direct commodities.
  • independent and reliable way of working
  • Willingness to travel intercontinentally (approx. 30%)
  • Must be a high performer with ability to think outside the box and highlight key achievements
