Senior Event Manager

Your mission
Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for an experienced and highly organized Senior Event Manager who brings passion and strategic vision to the execution of high-profile esports and gaming events across Germany. In this role, you will plan, manage, and execute events from concept to post-event analysis—creating unforgettable experiences for our community, partners, and clients. With a strong background in leading complex event formats, you'll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless operations before, during, and after each event. This position is based in Berlin-Spandau.

Responsibilities

• Development of innovative event concepts and detailed project plans
• Independent management and execution of multiple events simultaneously
• Selection, negotiation, and coordination of vendors, suppliers, and partners
• On-site team leadership and coordination to ensure flawless event execution
• Collection and analysis of feedback to identify areas for improvement
• Oversight of the entire event lifecycle—from setup to execution to teardown
• Collaboration with national and international clients and companies
• Development and implementation of comprehensive event and live marketing strategies

Your profile
Required

• 5–7 years of experience in event management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within the gaming industry
• Proven track record in organizing large-scale events (e.g. corporate events, trade shows, entertainment events)
• Strong project management skills: budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
• Resilience, flexibility, and a solution-oriented mindset—even under pressure
• Fluent in both German and English

Preferred

• A passion for gaming and esports is a strong plus
• A solid network of vendors in areas such as exhibition construction, event tech, network infrastructure, and possibly ticketing
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
