We're looking for a creative storyteller to produce a marketing video that does for Generative AI what Dollar Shave Club did for razors, what Poo-Pourri did for bathroom etiquette, and what the early Slack ads did for office chat.

We're TextCortex. We have a powerful product used by companies from Fortune 500, DAX over to global hidden champions to solve the massive "if we only knew what we already know" problem.

But explaining AI agent builders and deep data mining can be... a challenge.

That's where you come in. Your job is to turn our powerful-but-complex technology into a simple, relatable, and unforgettably clever story.

Your Responsibilities

• Storytelling & Concept: You'll be the creative engine. Take our core value props (productivity boosts, solving knowledge chaos) and brainstorm a killer video concept.
• Post-Production Mastery: Edit the footage into a masterpiece. You'll handle the cuts, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to make it pop.
• Asset Creation: Slice and dice the final video into a suite of assets ready for war: killer thumbnails, vertical cuts for social media, and shareable GIFs.
• Master the Art of the Prompt: Translate your creatives into vivid, effective, and cinematic text prompts that guide the AI video models.
• Become Our In-House AI Futurist: Stay on the bleeding edge of what's possible. You'll be our go-to expert on new tools, techniques, and workflows for AI-driven content creation.
• Stitch and Polish: Assemble the curated AI-generated clips into a cohesive narrative. This is where traditional skills shine: you'll handle the editing, pacing, sound design, color grading, and add motion graphics to create a polished final product.

• Insane Curiosity (Non-Negotiable): You are obsessively following AI video developments. You've already tried to get access to Sora, you're on every waitlist, and you spend your free time watching tutorials and experiments on X/Twitter and YouTube. You don't need to be a master, but you must be driven to become one.
• Strong Visual & Narrative Sense: AI tools generate content, not stories. You must have a strong vision for the story before you start prompting. You know what makes a good shot, what creates emotional impact, and how to build a compelling narrative arc.
• Prompt Crafting & "Visual Translation": You have a knack for describing a scene with rich, evocative language. You can think like a director, cinematographer, and writer all at once, but your output is a text prompt.
• A "Hybrid" Production Mindset: You understand that AI can't do everything (yet). You're resourceful enough to know when to use AI-generated footage and when to seamlessly blend it with high-quality stock video, motion graphics (After Effects), or other traditional assets to fill the gaps.
• Patience & A Love for Iteration: You see a weird, six-fingered hand in an AI-generated clip not as a failure, but as a data point. You are excited by the process of generating 10 different versions of a scene to find the one perfect moment.
• Exceptional Post-Production Skills: Your ability to edit, design sound, and color grade is what will elevate raw AI outputs into a proper videos.

• You're Tech-Curious: You're fascinated by AI and the challenge of making complex technology accessible and exciting to a broad audience.
• You're Autonomous: You can take a brief, ask smart questions, and then run with the project without needing constant hand-holding.
• You're Fluent: You have excellent communication skills in English (our primary working language).

What We Offer

• Creative Freedom: This is your show. We're hiring you for your vision. We'll give you the strategic goals, but the creative execution is yours to own.
• Real Impact: Your work will become a cornerstone of our marketing, seen by our 2 million+ monthly website visitors and a massive B2B audience. This is a portfolio-defining project.
• Flexibility: This is a project-based role, perfect for a freelancer or a student. We estimate a scope of 15-20 hours/week during the project, but we're flexible. Work from our Berlin office or remotely.
• Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly rate or a fixed project-based fee, depending on your preference and experience (€18-25/hour or equivalent project fee).
• Direct Collaboration: You'll work directly with our founding team, getting a masterclass in how a G2 "Fastest Growing Product of the Year" operates.
