About the role

We're a startup building an 
agentic marketing framework
 on 
Python
 (backend/agents) and 

 (web app). We're looking for a highly technical Product Lead who 
owns alignment and execution
 across business and engineering.

This role is not focused on classic product discovery (user interviews, broad roadmap evangelism). Instead, your core mission is to:

• Translate ambiguous business needs into 
  clear, prioritized engineering work
• Maintain a shared reality between stakeholders
• Keep delivery moving with strong judgment, structure, and technical credibility.

You will work closely with engineering leadership and business stakeholders and act as the 
single-threaded owner for planning, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment
.

What you'll do

• Translate business goals into execution:
   turn strategy, customer demands, or internal needs into concrete technical initiatives with crisp scope and acceptance criteria.
• Break down complexity:
   decompose vague problems into deliverable tasks/stories, identify dependencies, and define what "done" means.
• Prioritize ruthlessly:
   drive trade-off decisions using impact, risk, effort, and sequencing; keep focus on what matters most.
• Run alignment rituals:
   lead planning, refinement, roadmap discussions, and stakeholder updates; ensure no surprises.
• Argue well in both directions:
   challenge business requests when they create unsustainable tech debt; challenge engineering proposals when they miss business value or timing.
• Own delivery communication:
   keep everyone aligned on status, scope changes, risks, mitigation plans, and decisions.
• Be the product+tech glue:
   understand architecture, agent workflows, APIs, data flows, and UI constraints well enough to make strong calls and unblock teams.

What success looks like (first 3–6 months)

• Engineering has 
  clear priorities
   and minimal thrash.
• Stakeholders trust delivery updates because they're 
  accurate and decision-oriented
  .
• Ambiguous topics get turned into 
  tight scopes and executable plans
   quickly.
• Roadmap is a living tool used to 
  drive trade-offs
  , not a wish list.
• Teams ship more consistently with fewer last-minute escalations.

Must-have qualifications

• Proven multiyear experience in a role like 
  Technical Product Manager / Product Lead / Delivery-focused Product / Program Manager in a startup
   where you owned execution and alignment.
• Strong ability to 
  read and reason about real systems
   (not just talk about them):
• backend services, APIs, async workflows, distributed systems basics
• familiarity with Python ecosystems and modern web stacks )
• Excellent at 
  problem decomposition
  : turning messy inputs into structured tasks with clear outcomes.
• Strong prioritization and decision-making under constraints.
• High communication clarity: can write specs/tickets that engineers love and stakeholders understand.
• Comfortable with conflict in a healthy way: can 
  push back
   and drive decisions without ego.
• Bias for action, ownership mentality, and ability to operate with incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Experience with one or more of:
• LLM/agentic systems, tool calling, evals, prompt/versioning, orchestration patterns
• Event-driven architectures / queues / background jobs
• Experimentation frameworks and analytics pipelines
• Scaling early-stage products (0→1, 1→N)
• Hands on coding capabilites

Working style / environment

• Fast iteration, shifting priorities, high ownership.
• You'll need to balance urgency with engineering sustainability.
• You'll collaborate directly with founders/leadership and engineering.
