We are looking for a skilled Driver and preferably a combination of skills of Driver and
Senior Manual Test Engineer
with a clear understanding of SDLC and testing theory. Seasoned in testing practice with good investigation skills to join our team in its work on IVI automotive project on-site. The client is willing to have the driver on-site (with QA experience) and the QA engineer (2 persons) who will perform field testing using a pre-production prototype car with a new-generation IVI system.
Requirements:
- Driver license of category B
- Must visit the office in Ingolstadt
- At least 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer
- Automotive experience of at least 3 years
- Field testing experience
- Proven proficiency in the creation of test reports and defects
- Solid experience in Test case creation
- Understanding of SDLC and testing theory
- German work permit
- Very good communication skills in English
- Flexibility in working schedule. Shifted working hours are expected. Begin after 14:00
Nice to have:
- Prototype driver's license
- High Voltage training
Responsibilities:
- Attending daily briefings prior to test drives
- Upload updated software to the test car
- Perform daily test drives
- Execute test plans
- Test case creation
- Record traces for defect analysis
- Produce Test Reports/Test Summary Reports
- Create defect reports directly after a test drive
- Support the engineering team by testing dev-drops
- Collaborate with a car manufacturer or management/development team
