Zusammenfassung
We are looking for a full-time Head of HR for Trapeze ITS DACH based in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will lead the HR team of Trapeze ITS DACH (currently 2 employees), align with the HR manager in our Polish organisation, while also contributing to operational excellence and strategic HR initiatives across the organization, which has employees in Switzerland, Germany and Poland. You will be reporting to the General Manager of Trapeze ITS DACH.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and develop the HR team across DACH, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business objectives.
  • Represent HR within the Trapeze DACH ITS management team and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver and execute HR strategies and initiatives in line with Group standards, covering Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Engagement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders to strengthen organizational culture and leadership capability.
  • Oversee and deliver day-to-day HR support for managers on employee relations, performance, absence, redundancy, and flexible working.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and, ideally, Swiss and Polish legislation, maintaining robust documentation and audit trails.
  • Act as HR Business Partner for one division within Trapeze ITS DACH.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Support training and development programs by identifying needs and coordinating with external providers.
  • Deliver quarterly HR reports on recruitment, retention, key People KPIs and workforce trends to drive operational improvements and inform strategic decisions.
  • Support M&A activities, including HR due diligence, onboarding, and integration planning.
  • Manage accurate personnel records and uphold data integrity across HR systems.
  • Budget responsibility for HR cost centre, quarterly budget planning
  • Supporting and advising the management on personnel-related decisions and their implications
  • Promoting and helping to shape a positive corporate culture and employer branding.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A high impact, dynamic HR professional that thinks strategically with a record of consistently delivering results and an ability to deliver operational outcomes with various stakeholders
  • Proven track record in HR within international organizations.
  • Strong understanding of German and/or SWISS labor law; knowledge of other European jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Ability to hire, manage, coach and mentor HR professionals in the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Energetic, highly proactive and results oriented

  • Ability to work flexible hours under pressure to tight timescales
  • Passionate about employee development and engagement.
