  • Ensure all beverages are prepared according to guest specifications prior to serving to guest • Ensure all glasses and other items required for drinking are checked prior to use. Be responsibly minded for the breakage and loss or such items • Be always visible and attentive to guest needs whilst in your work station and incorporate effective company approved sales techniques in order to sell and recommend beverages in line with company sales targets • Ensure the company Responsible Serving of Alcohol policy is adhered to at all times to ensure guest safety and immediately raise any concerns with Assistant Bar Manager or Bar Manager • Ensure guest complaints are resolved effectively and efficiently to guest satisfaction and reported to Assistant Bar Manager or Bar Manager • Assist other departments, when required, following instruction from Bar Manager • To attend departmental meetings and trainings as required • Follow Bar hygiene regulations in line with Public Health standards • Any other duties as reasonably requested by Assistant Bar Manager and Bar ManagerRequirements Previous shipboard or bar experience in similar position Fluent in English – must have excellent oral communication skills Flexibility – must be able to work various times of the day, remain calm under pressure and have a can -do attitude
