At our office in Weinheim or hybrid

As a (Junior) Network Administrator (m/f/d), you will share responsibility for ensuring the availability and security of our customers' data center and network infrastructure.

These exciting tasks await you:

Development, planning, implementation and administration of:
Data center infrastructuresLAN, SD-WANNetwork security, firewall solutions from manufacturers like Cisco and FortinetLayer 2 and Layer 3 configuration of customer sitesEnsuring maximum availability and network securityDocumenting the network structure using Microsoft VisioPlanning, coordination, and execution of system installationsSecond & Third Level support for pre-qualified incidents in the areas of routers, switches, and firewallsParticipation in a weekly rotating 24/7 on-call duty (separately compensated)

Your profile:

  • Knowledge of routing and switching and common routing protocols
  • Experience with firewall solutions, preferably from Cisco and Fortinet
  • First experience with network security (e.g. Cisco Identity Services Engine)
  • Ideally, manufacturer certifications (e.g., CCNA)
  • ITIL knowledge is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding, independent working style, and high level of service orientation
  • Very good German and good English skills
