About The Role
Agile Robots SE is a high-tech startup based in Munich. Our mission is to bridge the gap between AI and robotics by developing robotic systems that offer state-of-the-art full-body force sensitivity and world-leading vision intelligence. This unique combination of technologies enables us to provide intelligent, easy-to-use, and affordable robotic solutions with safe human-robot interaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, create, calculate, and improve mechanical designs
  • Create and review: technical drawings, technical specifications, and documents
  • Solve Issues and Implement Changes
  • Support in requirements definition, as well as verifying and validating
  • Performing tests and simulations
  • Work hands-on with the developed hardware

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Previous experience as a mechanical engineer (minimum 5 years)
  • Understand and apply mechanical engineering principles
  • Experience using CAD software
  • Technical drawing and tolerancing skills
  • Able to work in a team and be self-sufficient when needed; - Flexible and open to change; - Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience using SolidWorks
  • Previous experience with mechatronics and/or robotics
  • ISO-GPS and manufacturing knowledge
  • German Knowledge

Your Profile

You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment as part of the mechanics team inside the robot development department. Your activities will vary across the lifecycle of a series of products. The tasks assigned to you will range from concepts, requirements definition, CAD design, calculation, simulation, tolerancing, issuesolving, change management, documentation, and prototype assembly.
