Your area of work

The Market & Liquidity Analytics unit plays a central role in enabling Eurex's senior and sales management to navigate complex market environments and commercial priorities. We deliver high-impact business intelligence across asset classes, providing transparency on business performance, market developments, and liquidity dynamics. Our insights guide strategic initiatives such as the partnership program and help shape commercial strategy through targeted analysis. With deep business expertise and a strong data foundation, we own key data domains and drive cross-functional intelligence efforts. Through our work, we identify growth opportunities, monitor revenue trends, and contribute to enterprise-wide data initiatives - ensuring consistency, innovation, and informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.

As a Working Student in Business Analytics (f/m/d), you will support the ongoing business intelligence and reporting activities within Eurex, focused on OTC IRD. Embedded in the Market & Liquidity Analytics unit, your role will focus on assisting with day-to-day operations, maintaining and enhancing existing reporting tools, and contributing to the delivery of data-driven insights across asset classes. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic analytics environment, working closely with experienced professionals on both routine and strategic initiatives. You will help ensure the smooth execution of business-as-usual (BAU) tasks while also supporting the development of scalable BI solutions that serve internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities: 

• You will support the preparation and maintenance of recurring reports and dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key business metrics
• You will support the creation of product presentations, respond to client requests, and contribute to the delivery of regular reports to stakeholders, while helping streamline and automate reporting and data delivery processes
• You will contribute to the validation, deployment and enhancement of existing BI tools and workflows, helping streamline reporting processes and improve usability while maintaining the self-service BI solutions
• ou will collaborate with team members across Market & Liquidity Analytics to support ad-hoc analyses and ensure alignment with business priorities
• You will explore opportunities to improve and automate existing BI processes, contributing ideas that enhance scalability, usability, and impact across business and liquidity analytics

Your Profile:

• You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field at a state-recognized university
• You are reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership for business-critical tasks, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a structured working style
• You have a keen interest in business intelligence and emerging trends in data analytics, including cloud-based solutions and AI/ML applications
• You are proactive and engaged, with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• You have solid proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus
• You are fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
