Your future team

As a member of our Design team, you'll collaborate with seven talented multidisciplinary designers, all dedicated to crafting intuitive, high-quality products and services for both guests and hosts. Curious about our work? Explore our design blog for a glimpse into our latest projects:

Holidu Hosts is our software and service solution for vacation rental owners (hosts). In this role, you will work closely with the Host Experience department, a highly international team consisting of 35 Developers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Technical Support Engineers and QA. Together with the team, you will focus on creating a best-in-class tool to help our hosts manage their properties effortlessly.

Your role in this journey

Responsibilities
As a Senior / Staff UX Designer, you will take a leading role in shaping the future of our host experience platform. You will set the design vision for our product's long-term evolution while driving high-quality user experiences across multiple development teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Shaping the design strategy for our core product, ensuring a seamless balance between short-term impact and long-term vision.
• Supporting multiple development teams, ensuring design excellence across parallel workstreams.
• Establishing and scaling UX research operations, ensuring our design decisions are data-driven and user-centered.
• Conducting and driving UX research to identify new product opportunities and ensure our design decisions are deeply rooted in user needs.
• Collaborating closely with product managers and developers to efficiently deliver cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed user experiences.
• Providing high-quality user interfaces and effectively communicating your thought process and methodology.
• Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces that lead intuitive user experiences, ranging from small feature iterations to larger, complex ones.
• Mentoring other designers and raising the bar for design quality, craft, and user-centric innovation.
• Actively participating in the growth of the Design Team by giving and receiving constructive feedback, improving work processes, and contributing to our design system.

Your backpack is filled with

• 8+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or a similar role, with a strong focus on consumer-facing digital products.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience scaling and establishing design systems in growing organizations.
• Hands-on experience conducting and leading UX research efforts to inform product development.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for growing design talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering digital products.
• Strong understanding and application of visual design principles.
• Proactive mindset, taking ownership of delivering exceptional designs.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data and profound analytical skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, curiosity, and eagerness to explore innovative ideas.
• Expert on design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
