 is part of the listed Swedish HMS Networks Group and is responsible for the new and further development of all products related to the division Vehicle Communication.

Our team in Ravensburg is looking for a

Field Application Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

  • As a field application engineer you independently take on the technical support and further development of new and existing customers in collaboration with the local Sales Engineers
  • You communicate with customers at eye level and build relationships. Thanks to your customer understanding and technical expertise, you develop solution scenarios and convince our customers of their added value.
  • Understanding customer pain points and support them in finding the right solution. Use customer insights to improve the HMS product offering in collaboration with engineering.
  • You will provide customer training and conduct application engineering tasks like implementation/creation of customer-specific program code (C) and configurations. You lay out and implement product demonstrators and proof of concepts
  • You independently create project calculations, service descriptions and offers together with the R&D, FAE and Sales departments. As an active interface between engineering, product management as well as marketing and sales, you build the bridge to the market and represent your product portfolio with enthusiasm.
  • You support your colleagues confidently with customer presentations and product trainings.

Your Qualifications

  • You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Customer and market orientation are a matter of course for you - you understand customer needs and find customised solutions.
  • You impress with your problem-solving skills and your confident manner towards customers and partners.
  • You actively drive projects forward with initiative and a hands-on mentality.
  • You have experience in project management and can think strategically and analytically.
  • Programming skills in C, Python or a similar language are an advantage.
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and communicate fluently in German and English.
  • You are flexible and willing to travel occasionally (approx. 10%).
