Role Description

We are seeking a professional Chinese German Interpreter for an on-site assignment in Germany. The interpreter will be responsible for facilitating accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation between Chinese- and German-speaking participants, focusing on international trade and finance discussions.

Project Details:

  • Language Pair: Chinese German

  • Service Type: Onsite Interpretation (consecutive, not simultaneous)

  • Date: September 16th 17th (to be confirmed)

  • Location: Germany

  • Participants: Approximately 4 people, with 2 main speakers

  • Subject Matter: Communication on international trade payment terms and financing with the local government in Germany

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and fluent consecutive interpretation during the event.

  • Ensure clarity and understanding between Chinese- and German-speaking participants.

  • Interpret specialized terminology related to international trade, payment terms, and financing.

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the event.

Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in German.

  • Proven experience in consecutive interpretation, ideally in business, trade, or finance.

  • Strong knowledge of international trade and finance terminology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Availability onsite in Germany on the specified dates.
