Retail Consultant

For our Heinemann Duty Free Shops at Hannover Airport we are recruiting in part time (at least 80 hours/month) a Retail Consultant (m/f/d).

As a member of our family-owned business, you will inspire our customers from all over the world with excellent product assortments, your expert advice, and your warm hospitality. As a Retail Consultant in our Heinemann Duty Free Shops, you will

• proactively approach travellers with a welcoming smile, discover their needs, and inspire them to make additional purchases from our assortments of high-quality brands
• always be responsive to our customer's needs and create an unforgettable shopping experience with your dedicated advice and attentive support
• ensure the perfect presentation of our assortment through your great attention to detail
• turn travellers into loyal customers by winning them over for Heinemann and our customer loyalty programme
• take responsibility for the accurate and careful handling of checkout processes
• live our Heinemann culture and values, engage with other team members on a personal and professional level, share your knowledge, and strive for the team's success 

• Practical experience in sales or in a customer-oriented business, and preferably, product knowledge in the areas of perfumes and cosmetics, accessories or luxury items
• Very good command of German and English, and ideally, proficiency in an additional language
• Genuine passion in engaging with people, a natural service orientation and a talent for creating memorable moments for customers and colleagues
• Strong team, communication, and sales skills – especially the ability to understand the needs of customers with a wide range of cultural backgrounds through active listening and to act on them accordingly
• A clear focus on achieving your goals and an awareness of your own creative autonomy 
• Your own car and a high degree of flexibility in terms of early, late, night and weekend shifts
