This position is based in Germany, Preferably Munich or Berlin.
As a Senior Hybrid Mobile Developer, you will take ownership of our mobile apps and SDKs in a highly regulated Know-Your-Customer (KYC) industry. This role involves modernizing legacy products, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring top-quality delivery in a high-impact mobile development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modernize, and maintain iOS and Android mobile apps and SDKs.
• Take full ownership of a legacy product, ensuring long-term maintainability and high-quality standards.
• Further develop an automation-first approach to mobile testing, reducing reliance on manual QA.
• Collaborate with UX designers to improve and optimize user experience.
• Work with backend engineers to debug complex use cases.
• Maintain structured CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing, peer code reviews, and raise engineering excellence within the team.

Preferred Experience

• Proven senior-level expertise in both iOS and Android development:

• iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager.

• Android: Java, Kotlin, Gradle, XML-based UI, Jetpack Compose.

• Experience in modernizing and maintaining legacy codebases.

• Strong sense for delivering excellent user experiences with a structured, quality-first approach.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and GitLab pipelines for mobile repositories.
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks.

• Bonus skills:

• Working in highly regulated industries (banking, telecom, government, critical infrastructure)

• Knowledge of Python.
• Android development for custom hardware.
• German language
