We started with open-source product analytics, launched out of Y Combinator's W20 cohort.

We've since shipped more than a dozen products, including a built-in data warehouse, a customer data platform, and Max AI, an AI-powered analyst that answers product questions, helps users find useful session recordings, and writes custom SQL queries.

What you will be doing

As a Product Engineer on the Web Analytics team, you'll build and own products that turn raw data into real decisions, not only dashboards. This means talking to users who live in analytics, understanding what actually moves the needle, and shipping features that answer questions, not just track metrics.

You'll be in the rare position to test MVPs in production with real users, iterate on their feedback, and own the pricing, because if you don't believe in it, why should anyone else? And yes, you'll jump into support as a Support Hero, because the best features come from real pain points.

Product engineers at PostHog are truly full stack. You'll design and ship the frontend (we have no design by default), write HogQL queries, and, depending on the team, write high scale/high availability services in Rust and spin up infra.

What you will be doing

• You will build integrations from scratch with developer platforms like Vercel, Netlify, AWS & GitHub.

• You will design integration-specific onboarding flows that get developers set up with PostHog in minutes.

• You will maintain and monitor existing integrations to make sure they are working correctly.

• You will build tooling and infrastructure to make future integrations faster to create.

• You will analyze our users to understand which integrations we should prioritise building.
