Operations Supervisor

As Operations Supervisor at DP World High Tech in Neuss, you will ensure the smooth running of your shift and act as a link between your employees and superiors at the site.

About the Role

How you will contribute

- Personnel management and responsibility in the operational area
- Planning and control including work distribution and briefing of employees
- Superordinate contact person for customers and employees or temporary workers
- Planning and controlling the movement of goods
- Ensuring that orders are processed on time, including the complete and secure processing of incoming and outgoing goods
- Daily and weekly reporting (internal and external)
- Monitoring occupational safety and disciplinary regulations
- Reporting of damage and complaints, support with complaints and claims processing and corresponding documentation
- Monitoring stock levels and carrying out inventories and cycle counts

Your Key Qualifications

- Successfully completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable training desirable
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the logistics / forwarding sector with management experience desirable
- Fluent written and spoken German is required
- You are mobile and have a driver's license and car
- Very good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
- You enjoy working in a varied and exciting working environment for a global customer in a shift system
- You have a high degree of personal responsibility, independence as well as planning and organizational skills
- You have a dynamic, goal-oriented and team-oriented personality with good communication skills and are able to work under pressure
