We're supporting a
global medical device company
in Berlin that is expanding its R&D team and looking to hire a
Senior Software Engineer (Qt / C++)
to work on mission-critical software used in cancer treatment technologies.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical, regulated environment and play a key role in developing real-world healthcare solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
C++ applications
with a strong focus on the
Qt framework
within a regulated medical device environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, development, and testing of Qt / C++ applications
  • Code reviews, bug fixing, and automated testing
  • Creating technical documentation in line with industry standards
  • Managing software releases
  • Supporting service teams with customer and technical queries
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary R&D team

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar
  • Several years of experience in medical device software development (IEC 62304)
  • Strong C++ (17 or later) and Qt experience (Widgets / QML)
  • Experience with CMake and unit testing frameworks (e.g. GTest, GMock)
  • Familiarity with modern development environments (VS Code, CI)
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Experience with development methodologies such as V-Model, SCRUM or BDD
  • Fluent in English
