This is what you'll do:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of Product UX Designers and UX Copywriters — fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Define and execute a UX strategy based on user insights and aligned with flatexDEGIRO's business goals.
• Drive the end-to-end design process — from discovery to delivery — ensuring exceptional user experience and consistent platform design quality.
• Champion the adoption and evolution of our design system across all brands to accelerate time-to-market and strengthen our design consistency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Marketing, and Brand) to ensure our brand identity is seamlessly reflected across platforms.
• Propose and implement design visions for strategic, high-impact initiatives, creating both low- and high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
• Establish an evidence-based design culture through qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and user feedback.
• Partner with C-level stakeholders to shape the future of our platform design and user experience direction.
• Set strategic goals for your team, monitor progress, and promote a culture of designing for high-quality, user-centric products.
• Oversee personnel appraisals, career development, and resource planning within the design organization.

You bring us these skills:

• Education: Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design processes and outcomes.
• Proven experience working in agile product development environments.
• Deep proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong command of user research methodologies, usability testing, and UX best practices.
• Solid knowledge of collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills (German or Dutch are a plus).
