About the Role:As an API Developer, youll work with a dynamic team to design and implement high-performing APIs, develop back-end services, and contribute to a scalable, cloud-first infrastructure. You'll take ownership of key projects, ensuring smooth data handling, efficient system integrations, and exceptional performance across our platform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel) and/or Go.
  • Manage and optimise databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Implement and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
  • Monitor and improve API performance and reliability using modern tools.
  • Integrate and manage tools such as RabbitMQ and S3 storage for efficient workflows.
Requirements

What Were Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development.
  • Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel) and/or Go for API development.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in REST API design and best practices.
  • Fluency in German (C1 level) and strong communication skills for team collaboration.
