Intern CMF Design (m/f/x)

duration: 6 months / working hours: 40 hours/ week

In joining the CMF Design department as a design Intern (m/f/x), you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly creative team with wealth of knowledge in materials. During your internship you will gain valuable first-hand experience working with an international team to discover insights and deliver concepts on material developments with global partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working on design concepts
  • Bring new way of thinking, put in creative ideas and a new way of working to strengthen our design studio approach 
  • Contribute to the evolving design culture and process in our design studio
  • Participate in design trend and market research
  • Continually seek out for new material technologies, trends in line with our department strategy, emerging color & trim directions, innovative surface designs
  • Support on internal market place preparation

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in college or university (having completed a minimum of 3 semesters) with focus in the design field (Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, or a related field etc.) 
  • Product design background
  • High creativity, great sense of future trends and passion for sustainability
  • An eye for details, consistency and aesthetics
  • Self-organized and structured Team player 
  • Good skills in Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, PowerPoint, MS Office
  •  Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, German is a plus
