Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Munich
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and compliant accounts payable operations within an international, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, post, and process incoming invoices and special general ledger transactions using SAP S/4HANA (including Workflow tools).
- Accurately record and reconcile bank transactions.
- Process vendor invoices related to fixed assets in accordance with asset accounting standards.
- Execute payment runs within SAP.
- Monitor and clear outstanding items in the accounts payable ledger.
- Review and process corporate credit card statements in line with internal financial policies.
Your Profile:
- Several years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, with solid knowledge of German and EU VAT regulations.
- Confident in handling vendor transactions linked to purchase orders (ideally using the SAP MM module).
- Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Strong interest in AP processes and related tax matters.
- Proactive, responsible, and a strong team player.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
