Senior Product Marketing Manager

The Team:

Product marketing at Celonis is strategic, scrappy, and tight-knit. We value leading with empathy in our interactions, working closely with each other and other teams (often deliberately delivering projects as mini teams or co-leads of two), giving back together, and making things as simple as possible. Each product marketer is the CMO of their product domain and focused on four pillars:

1. Defining and executing product positioning, messaging, and launches 
2. Enabling and supporting the go-to-market and marketing teams
3. Informing product strategy
4. Driving product adoption and success.

The Role:

We're looking for someone who loves products and wants to spend time thinking about, talking about, and working on positioning them. In this role, you'll be owning  our IT modernization solution offering and broader positioning and messaging, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Platform. You will partner with our product leads and GTM leads - and lead our product positioning and go-to-market strategy for solutions at the heart of Celonis' value proposition.

You'll work hand in hand with our product teams, our go-to-market teams – think sales and presales – and our marketing team.

The work you'll do:

Product Positioning: 

• Create product positioning and messaging for global scalability, differentiating our product within the market.

• Craft compelling pitch decks, demos, keynotes, and event sessions tailored to the target audience.

• Be the go-to expert on how our product showcases the capabilities of the Celonis platform.

Market Mastery:

• Utilize sales engagement, market research, and competitive intelligence to dominate the product area market.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute effective go-to-market strategies.

Inform Product Strategy:

• Partner with the product management team to strategize and launch new products, ensuring ongoing adoption.

• Develop a deep understanding of buyer behaviors, criteria, and influencers to inform product strategies.

Product Adoption and Success:

• Understand the product's value proposition and competition, coaching teams on outmaneuvering rivals.

• Work closely with the demand generation team to develop impactful campaigns driving pipeline growth.

• Collaborate with the content marketing team to produce compelling materials such as solution briefs, white papers, blogs, videos, and third-party articles.

• Establish thought leadership by participating in events, social media, press, and industry analyst engagements.

The qualifications you need:

• 10+ years of experience in software product marketing, product management, presales, or consulting, focused on enterprise technology.
• Experienced presenter at conferences, customer briefings, and executive-level discussions.
• Deep expertise in IT modernization across data, AI, automation, cloud, or application transformation domains.
• Proven track record of bringing AI-driven or modernization-focused products to market, including messaging, positioning, and launch execution.
• Comfort engaging with CIOs, CTOs, and IT transformation leaders, with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business value.
• Highly analytical and structured thinker, able to synthesize complex concepts, connect ideas across the stack, and articulate clear narratives.
• Proactive owner of cross-functional workstreams, with the ability to drive clarity, alignment, and momentum across product, sales, and marketing.
• Agile, collaborative, and feedback-oriented, able to iterate quickly and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Bias for action, with a history of delivering measurable impact through high-quality PMM programs and initiatives.
• BA/BS required; a technical or quantitative degree (Engineering, Computer Science, similar) strongly preferred.
