About the role
Help us to build the systems that power everything.
- Design and build backend services and APIs that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Take ownership of our cloud infrastructure: automate deployments, monitor performance, and maintain high availability across all environments.
- Boost developer productivity by optimizing CI/CD and testing pipelines.
- Establish and uphold security best practices.
- Work closely with our engineering team and all founders to ensure seamless system integration.
- Help shape our backend architecture, DevOps culture, and engineering standards in collaboration with the founders.
Our tech stack:
Frontend: NuxtJs, JavaScript, Component libraries and design system
Backend: Python (FastAPI, SQl ALchemy), SQL and NoSQL databases, Supabase
Infra & DevOps: Microsoft Azure PaaS, Docker
Tooling: CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions), automated tests, release processes, observability dashboards

You might be a fit if…
- You bring hands-on experience designing, running, and maintaining modern backend systems and infrastructure in production.
- You've built secure and scalable APIs, and you care deeply about deployment practices, logging, and monitoring.
- You're confident managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), setting up CI/CD pipelines, and automating wherever possible.
- You treat security as a mindset, not an afterthought—following best practices for data protection, authentication, and cloud access.
- You value reliability, clean abstractions, and well-considered architecture.
- You are resourceful and driven, with a "get it done" attitude—committed to going the extra mile when it counts, because you care both about the problems you're solving and the quality of your own work.
- You feel comfortable speaking English in all situations, being able to speak German is a plus
