HVAC Engineer

A motivated HVAC Engineer is required to support the planning and engineering of complex projects within the Biopharma and Life Sciences sectors. This role acts as a key interface between clients, project stakeholders, and contractors, serving as the main contact for all HVAC-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, with a strong focus on applications within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international norms, standards, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare all necessary planning documentation and participate in 3D modelling and design reviews.
  • Develop cost estimates and conduct price comparisons.
  • Support procurement processes, including negotiations with suppliers and contractors, and coordinate external partners.
  • Oversee scheduling, cost control, and quality throughout project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in HVAC system design within a project-based environment.
  • Desirable: Experience in cleanroom technology planning for pharmaceutical applications.
  • Understanding of engineering norms and standards (e.g., VOB or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CAD tools, and relevant calculation software.
  • Structured, methodical working style with strong problem-solving capability; strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site for specific project requirements.
