We are a driven team in charge of remote development and Code With Me at JetBrains. Remote development redirects all the heavy processing that an IDE typically does locally to a powerful remote server, completely reimagining the way developers work. With hardware performance no longer an issue, they can develop from anywhere, with the extra benefit of enhanced security and reliability. Code With Me empowers developers to collaborate on a single project in real time and write, edit, and debug code simultaneously. By delivering a smooth, low-latency user experience across these solutions, we're striving to give developers new ways to work and stay productive.

In this role, you will:
  • Search for and localize bugs, submitting the results to our issue tracker and doing regression testing for code fixes.
  • Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing.
  • Continuously communicate with the development team to ensure that you're always up to speed on application architecture development.
  • Reproduce bugs reported by our users.
We'll be happy to have you on our team if you:
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in testing commercial applications.
  • Are familiar enough with Kotlin and/or Java to write basic applications.
  • Are ready to learn new programming languages and tools to work with them.
  • Understand the testing process.
  • Have experience in testing without functional specifications.
  • Are capable of finding and reproducing complex problems relating to functionality.
  • Can grasp new concepts quickly and work both in a team and independently.
