Technical Product Manager Footwear

Are you passionate about performance products and eager to actively shape the future of running shoes? In this role, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for the development process of high-end running footwear—from the initial concept through to a market-ready product.

Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will align design, functionality, and quality, ensuring that our vision makes it onto the road.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    Holistic coordination of the development process from the concept phase through to the confirmation sample.
  • Interface Management:
    Close collaboration with design, product management, development teams, as well as material and manufacturing partners.
  • Requirements Translation:
    Converting briefs into technical specifications and development parameters.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Reviewing and approving all samples with regard to functionality, design, cost, and timelines.
  • Process Optimization:
    Continuous advancement of materials and processes with a focus on performance, sustainability, and efficiency.

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in footwear engineering, product development, engineering, sports technology, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in the development of performance footwear, ideally with a focus on the running segment.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing technologies, and development processes within the footwear industry.
  • Confident use of CAD systems, development software, and tools for technical specification.
  • Experience working with global production partners, particularly in Asia.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
