Minimum Requirements

• A
  university degree
  in
  Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics
  , or a related field.
• Strong understanding of
  fundamental computer science concepts
  , particularly data structures, algorithms, automated testing, object-oriented programming, algorithmic complexity, and the impact of design decisions on software performance.
• At least
  3 years of professional experience
  working on
  production-grade Data Science or Data Analytics projects
  , with specialized knowledge in one or more Data Science domains (e.g.,
  NLP
  ,
  OCR
  , etc.).
• Demonstrable
  minimum 3 years of experience
  in developing, optimizing, and maintaining
  applications in Python
  .

Evaluation Criteria

• Advanced knowledge of
  data analysis and visualization in Python
  , as well as solid proficiency in
  SQL
  .
• Deep understanding of the
  machine learning lifecycle
  , from data extraction to modeling, product development, and
  A/B testing
  .
• Solid understanding of
  core concepts and algorithms
  in
  statistics
  and
  machine learning
  .
• Experience working under
  DevSecOps principles
  and familiarity with
  industry best practices for deployment
  using
  CI/CD tools
  (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Project experience
  as an
  ML Engineer
  or in a comparable role within a
  statutory health insurance organization (GKV)
  in one of the following areas (at least
  6 months
  , please describe your role within the project and provide project details):
• AI-based analysis of medical aid applications
  and prediction of approval probability as well as expected control revenue for automated (dark) processing and prioritization of applications.
• AI-based detection of unusual prescription behavior
  in outpatient practices in the areas of medical aids, therapeutic treatments, and hospitals, for benchmarking healthcare providers.
• Development and optimization of machine learning models
  based on statutory health insurance (GKV) billing data to predict the probability of initial diagnoses or disease progression for targeted insured-member outreach.
• AI-supported auditing of hospital invoices
  and prediction of the expected control revenue when an invoice is reviewed by the Medical Service of the health insurance funds.
