Support Skailark's mission to revolutionize aviation data to empower airlines with greater efficiency and sustainability
The challenge: While aircraft, airlines and airports generate and collect massive amounts of data, this data is hardly aggregated and leveraged in the industry. As a result, decisions are often based on incomplete or even falsely interpreted data - leading to sub-optimal outcomes: financial losses and unnecessary CO2 emissions.
Our solution: At Skailark we help industry stakeholders make better-informed decisions and perform better financially and environmentally. At the heart of everything we do is a digital twin of the global aviation market. We model every seat on every flight of every airline with every aircraft. We estimate each gallon of fuel consumed and ton of CO2 emitted, how much an airline paid for each aircraft, we know the day when each component needs to undergo maintenance, how many hours each pilot sits in the cockpit, and so on… current customers include American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair & Transavia, among others.
The role: Tableau / BI Product Specialist (d/f/m)
As Product Manager at Skailark, you will sit at the intersection of product and customer success. You'll own our Tableau dashboards which are used by our customers. You further support global airline and consultancy clients with our data deliveries, and act as one point of contact for customer questions. You will also play a critical role in building and maintaining our internal data validation dashboards, which help both the product and sales teams ensure the quality and reliability of our data.
TasksResponsibilities:
- Product ownership: Shape and improve our customer-facing dashboards (Tableau) and ensure they deliver real value.
- Data deliveries: Manage and deliver data packages to customers with accuracy and timeliness, acting as the bridge between our internal product/data teams and external clients.
- Customer success: Communicate with customers to answer questions and troubleshoot.
- Validation dashboards: Maintain and expand our internal validation dashboards, used across product and sales, to monitor data quality and provide insights.
- Product feedback loop: Collect feedback from customers and internal teams to prioritize new features, enhancements, and improvements in collaboration with the product team.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Tableau, building and managing dashboards and underlying data feeds.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with data and turn it into clear insights.
- Knowledge of (or excitement for) the aviation industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (no German required).
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- A valid European Union work permit is required; relocation to Munich is highly preferred.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge aviation data product used by global airlines and consultancies.
- Ownership of customer-facing dashboards and direct impact on client success.
- Diverse responsibilities spanning product, data delivery, and customer success.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid work options.
- Direct collaboration with the product team, and exposure to global airline executives.
- Collaborative, high-ownership environment (with the best coffee in Munich ).
Skailark is an equal opportunity employer and promotes diversity in the workplace. We value and respect all individuals, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
Join Skailark and help us grow our global reach in aviation data. We look forward to hearing from you
