About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated
IT System Administrator / Engineer
to support the operation, security, and continuous improvement of critical IT infrastructure. This role is key in maintaining secure, high-performance systems in a technically complex and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer network infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain IT systems and services
• Operate and administer firewalls with a focus on IT security
• Deploy and support virtual server infrastructures (VMware & Citrix), including Windows/Linux systems and associated hardware
• Lead and contribute to IT projects from planning through implementation
• Support IT security analysis and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with IT teams across multiple locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues

What You Bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with IT focus
• Several years of experience in network/server administration and IT security
• Proficiency in firewall technologies and infrastructure management
• Solid understanding of IT methodologies and change management
• Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and structured working methods
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level)
