Intern IT Infrastructure

We have exciting opportunities for you as:

Work on real projects and tasks within our Information Technology department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany

Starting from February Minimum of 6 months (possible prolongation for up to 12 months).

The Requirements:

For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

Your Mission:

• Assist in project management and end-user training for various IT infrastructure, laptops, and Microsoft 365 projects.
• Support the IT helpdesk to enhance service processes and contribute to daily operations as it relates to infrastructure matters.
• Develop innovative ideas and execute them in IT infrastructure IT Helpdesk operation area.
• Support the IT project teams throughout the software development, testing, deployment and operations processes.
• Support the IT team in Data Analytics tasks, e.g., ad hoc data analysis, data pipelining, charting, and dashboard development.
• Participate in reporting, vendor management and issue tracking using ticket management systems.

Your Talents:

• Graduate student having a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrates a resilient mindset with a "Never give up" attitude, embracing challenges as opportunities to grow.
• Motivated, autonomous, and a strong team player with creative problem-solving skills.
• Passionate interest in IT and emerging technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to a wide audience.
• Good understanding of Network principles and Windows OS.
• Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Certificates in areas such as networking, security, cloud technologies, or Microsoft 365 are highly valued and considered a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with major software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Linux-based environments is preferred.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, technologies, and challenges in a fast-moving environment.
• Capable at analyzing problems and at communicating solutions and results.
