About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
IFS Technical Consultant
to
join our client's team
in Germany.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global organisation that is investing in the latest
IFS Cloud
technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical design, configuration, and support of IFS solutions - ensuring smooth integration, optimal performance, and alignment with business objectives.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions within
IFS Applications 10 and IFS Cloud
, collaborating with functional teams, end users, and IT specialists across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and consultancy throughout the
    implementation, upgrade, and optimisation
    of IFS Cloud.
  • Design, configure, and customize IFS modules in line with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain
    custom reports, interfaces, and integrations
    using SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, and IFS tools.
  • Support
    data migration
    , validation, and system testing activities during project rollouts.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants to ensure technical solutions align with functional design and business processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining
    technical documentation
    and configuration guides.
  • Participate in
    IFS Cloud upgrades
    , ensuring compatibility and smooth transition of custom developments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest IFS features, patches, and technical advancements.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an
    IFS Technical Consultant
    ,
    IFS Developer
    , or
    ERP Technical Specialist
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    IFS Applications 10 and/or IFS Cloud
    .
  • Strong technical knowledge in:
  • SQL / PL-SQL
    (data extraction, transformation, and optimization)
  • IFS APIs, integrations, and customizations
  • Report development
    (IFS Report Designer, BI Publisher, or Crystal Reports)
  • Experience with
    data migration tools
    and techniques.
  • Familiarity with IFS configuration and environment management.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
    hybrid working environment
    .

Education & Language Requirements

  • Fluent English
    (written and spoken).
  • German language proficiency
    (C1 or native) required.
